As we approach our stay in Geelong leading up to our voyage across to Tassie, we made a 2 night stopover in the small town of Gellibrand.
Enjoyed a steak sanga lunch at the Gellibrand River Pub yesterday.
Overnight minimum was a sultry 6 degrees. We awoke to a thick fog so I braved the elements, layered up - went the whole nine yards with beanie, gloves and thongs and grabbed a few shots around the traps.
Following such a chilly beginning, temperatures, the mercury reached 31 by day's end.
Tomorrow, we head off to a free camp in Winchelsea for a couple of nights then onward to Geelong until we embark on our transit across Bass Strait.
